Total Safety Consultancy was started in 2018 by James Rankin, after friends asked him for help while struggling to find a fire company that specialises in housing. The risk assessments they were receiving weren't specialist, and didn't take the type of property into account at all.
A lot of fire safety companies don't specialise in housing — we do. James spent several years in property management and understands that residential buildings simply don't work the same way as commercial premises.
Since starting the business, James has taken on and trained two further assessors and gained contracts with local and national estate agents, housing associations and managing agents across the country.
